I moved to Madeley 20 Years ago and was immediately struck by the wealth of living history all around us.
The gorge is full of fascinating glimpses of our industrial heritage which is the main focus of my work. I love wandering around the local Museums and trying to capture a glimpse of a world that is rapidly disappearing. I mainly work in monotones ink with a traditional dip pen or graphite with the occasional dabble into livelier coloured acrylics.
I have had work displayed at Weston Park Gallery, Bear steps Gallery Shrewsbury, and locally and I split my time between trying to capture local history and working part time as a ceramics painter for a local company producing limited special editions.
