We are collaborative textile artists living and working in Ironbridge Gorge we have been working together since 2014 when we discovered our individual interests came together to produce something mutually satisfying. Our different approaches, on the one hand freeform and big picture, and on the other perfectionism and precision, enabled something we wanted to explore. Currently we are producing larger scale wall hangings in applique and and handstitching which can be viewed in local cafe, Eighty Six’d where we have held a successful exhibition. We also like to work in paper collage and have submitted a piece to the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s community art
I trained as a textile designer (C&G) for 4 years followed by BA Arts degree at Wolverhampton. Worked as Art lecturer at Wolverhampton. I set up my retail business 16 years ago and have continued to sell my own work but now have more time to dedicate to my art. Much of my work is inspired by my travels and landscape plays a big part. My paintings are usually acrylic but often have the addition of textiles. My studio is in Fusion at The Tile Museum, Jackfield.
