Born In Shropshire I trained in Glass design and Sculpture at the University of Wolverhampton.
During my second year at Wolverhampton, I was awarded a scholarship place to attend Pilchuck glass school in Seattle USA for the summer programme. Later I received a second scholarship to work from the Redhouse Glass Cone in Stourbridge after attending the international Glass centre on the professional development course. When this two year scholarship period ended in Stourbridge I then went on to set up my own studio closer to home and have been based in Jackfield for over twelve years.
My work is often both fluid and geometric but always made with very bold applications of colour. My influences range from the medium itself to almost everything around me. I love the diversity of glass and the possibilities it offers me in terms of creative expression.
