We are collaborative textile artists living and working in Ironbridge Gorge we have been working together since 2014 when we discovered our individual interests came together to produce something mutually satisfying. Our different approaches, on the one hand freeform and big picture, and on the other perfectionism and precision, enabled something we wanted to explore. Currently we are producing larger scale wall hangings in applique and and handstitching which can be viewed in local cafe, Eighty Six’d where we have held a successful exhibition. We also like to work in paper collage and have submitted a piece to the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s community artRead More →

Throughout my whole life, all I have ever wanted to do is create. From knitting with bits of string and pencils as a child, to crocheting, painting, printing and even playing with porcelain as an adult. Creativity is in my blood. I completed my degree at Wolverhampton university, as a mature student, graduating with a BA(hons) in 2017. I use various different techniques and practices in my work, such as print and textiles. Currently I am using porcelain and glass, to create insect curiosities, with an idea to expand this into textiles. www,janinealgerdesign.etsy.com www.janinealger.wixsite.com/mysite  Read More →
