Elena is a live and visual artist whose work is concerned with site contextual or site responsive situations that are sensitive to time, place and people. Her work often examines the overlooked and obscure, tapping in to oral histories, collective understandings and forgotten truths. She creates narrative interventions that invite audiences to participate, comment and create. For this years art trail, Elena is exploring the often overlooked wildlife that can be found in abundance on brownfield sites. Join her on two afternoons during the trail, for flower and fauna folklore storytelling and add your own wildflower to a stitched brownfield.
