I’ve been painting, on and off, for over 40 years. I like to describe myself as an eclectic artist, as I am constantly experimenting with new techniques, styles and media. However, one enduring theme of much of my work has been the built and natural environment of the Ironbridge Gorge and the surrounding area, and I have several works o this theme. Prices of my work vary from £35 – £200 Acrylic, Oils and Watercolour impressionist, abstract or sometimes a little surreal.   https://ironbridgesteve.wixsite.com/stevevaughanartwork https://www.facebook.com/SteveVaughanArtwork/ Dale End Park Heart of the forrest. I have always enjoyed painting and have now also taken up sculpting in clay which i find both exciting and relaxing! My work is usually based on wildlife which is very dear to my heart and never ceases to give me such pleasure to see. I hope i capture some of this in both my 2D and 3D work. I have also recently started paint dancers in acrylics and watercolour – trying to show their  grace and movement . lindleyfallon@gmail.com  Read More →

I just love paint. And I love to travel. And to teach other people to paint. That’s it really. In recent years I have studied with master painters from Italy and the USA, all the time searching for traditional skills and methods which can be applied to paintings of a modern world. I give workshops and classes on various aspects of drawing and painting and also painting holidays for those who want to work outside the studio. I have always been a painter, I graduated with a BA Hons in Fine Art Painting and later studied for a teaching certificate specialising in post 16 education. I have been living in the Telford area for 10 years now but I grew up in the Welsh mountains with very few modern distractions, I soon developed a vivid imagination and an inherent need to try to record my minds meanderings. I use a technique called ‘Automatism ‘ first developed by the Surrealists in the early part of the twentieth century. It is to create without conscious self censorship. The images appear projected on to the clay or page. I just have to keep it truthful and try not to control the image tooRead More →
